Cris B (OT 2023) releases ‘Remedio’ as her first single: a pop song where her voice shines

Music news

It’s news Friday and that means: that the 2023 triumphs are launching. And, for three weeks now, the OT contestants have been releasing their first singles. The last? Violeta and Cris B. This second has opted for Remedy: a pop song where the young man once again demonstrates that he has one of the best voices to come out of this edition’s academy.

Remedio, Cris B’s cover letter, is a pop song where the singer’s voice takes center stage. And there is no one like him to make perfect treble. For the base, the artist has opted for rhythms that are reminiscent of the funk music of the eighties and that fit him like a glove. It can be heard now on Amazon Music and starting Friday, February 16, on the rest of the platforms.

Who is behind Remedio de Cris B?

For Remedio, Cris B has had the help of Fresquito and Mango, two of the composers who have been the most talked about in recent years thanks to great songs like Mándame un audio, Nube gris or Ya will not return. In addition, the boys have also helped other classmates like Violeta compose their first songs.

Furthermore, the cover of the single, where we see a gorgeous Cris with a tank top and a clean blue sky behind, was created by Stephen Please, who has also been behind other colleagues such as Violeta.

Of course, the topic has been very well received by some of his followers. Colleagues from the academy such as Álex Márquez, Chiara, Manu Guix, Noemí Argüelles and Xuso Jones have congratulated the artist. Brays Efe, the famous actor who gave life to Paquita Salas, has also done it, leaving fire emojis on the cover of the single.

It certainly seems like Cris B is finding his voice in the music industry. And what did you think of his first single?

As a curiosity, the name of the first single that Ana Guerra sang within the academy (to participate in the Eurovision preselection gala) was El Remedio. We find this coincidence super fun and we love it!
