Concert review: Brunori Sas: that desire for sharing feelings (Scaletta & Gallery)

Music news

Dario Brunori returns to the stages of the Italian buildings and returns after just over a month from what ironically on stage called “a small event on the Ligurian Riviera”, citing his participation in Sanremo when he presented “The Tree of Noci”, a song with which he concluded his concert at the Unipol Arena in Bologna, on March 28th.

On 30 and 31 March double date in Milan at the Unipol Forum in Assago and then no spoiler but know that you will not only attend a concert by a songwriter on the crest of the wave but also to the show of an artist who over the years has signed with his audience, and more and more, an affection and wonder mortgage agreement.

Brunori Sas has landed in the Olympus of Italian songwriters with a respectable apprenticeship. The first albums, of 2009, 2011 and 2014, were the forerunners of something good that was being born and was developing in the new pop music independent Italian songwriting. The consecration perhaps arrives with “At home everything well”, the album of 2017, followed by “Cip!” And “The walnut tree“, The one that led him to make himself known to the public more popular national team.

In a period of 16 years “only” 6 records and that's enough to make it clear that his is really quality music. Calcutta now comes to mind, so right to make a comparison with another artist of that bubble there who in many years has pulled out, just like Bruori, only the “necessary” records.

The show

Songwriter but also stand-up comedian, artist and also a little “big cock” as when he presents himself by raising themselves ironically at best that Italian music can today offer: “You too here in Bologna, you have had many good songwriters, but of low alloy”.

The show is a crescendo of emotions: Brunori naturally sings the pieces of the new album (special mention for “The guillotine”, “Life as it is” and “security guard”) but retraces his career giving us (yes, giving us) milestones as “for two that like us”, “The truth”, “Guardia '82” (the first verse makes it sing to the public).

No spoiler ok but one thing we have to say: to go to a live by Bruori Sas forces you to sing and scream, you move inside that desire for sharing feelings thanks to his songs “to be singing at the top of their lungs, as if five thousand voices became one”.
