Coldplay has been confirmed by the Billboard Music Awards 2024 as one of the main artists of the night's performance lineup. However, the quartet will not do so in person at the US venue where the delivery ceremony will take place but will do so from thousands of kilometers away.

Because the band led by Chris Martin is currently in Oceania as part of the tour to promote his most recent studio album, Moon Music. The world tour of the British band has had them there since the end of November and in fact, one of their latest video clips emerged from there, in which they have had the collaboration of Ralph Macchio, the original Karate Kid.
