CLUB TO CLUB 2024: Turin, the capital of electronic music for five days

Music news

In the magical atmosphere of Turin, from 31 October to 3 November 2024, the twenty-second edition of the Club To Club Festival took place with the theme Living with the Gods.

Great success for the widespread musical event which, even with this new edition, has managed to consolidate its audience and expand its offering.

With an attendance of 41,000 participants, the Piedmontese Festival was sold out for the third consecutive year in a week dedicated to art and celebrations, not without attractions in the city. A notable growth compared to the 35,000 tickets of the last edition, but above all C2C has been able to raise the bar by positioning itself as an increasingly international event, with almost a third of the public coming from abroad.

The 43 artists from 18 different countries gave life to over thirty sessions, around twenty Italian exclusives and seven debuts in the overall line-up.

It was an intense edition which continued the path of consolidation and evolution of C2C Festival”, says Sergio Ricciardone, Founder and Artistic Director of C2C.

A five days of music with two stages in the main location of the Lingotto Fiere (Main Stage and Stone Island Stage) to which is added the presence at the OGR Torino, but also the not at all banal and full of ideas Talks in the center of the Teatro Regio , the aperitifs with an urban style flavor at Combo HQ and the events dedicated to the youngest of C2C KIDS at Fonderie Limone.

Of note is the performance of the DJ and producer Sofia Kourtesis who, after showing her most vulnerable and feminine side in the talk dedicated to her, in which she spoke about her beginnings and her professional life, during the evening performance on the Main Stage showed the confidence of a top-level musician. His hypnotic and refined sound ranged from Berlin techno sounds to sounds borrowed from his Latin American culture with a new and pleasant mix that the public proved capable of appreciating.

Overall, C2C hits the mark, grows and consolidates, the organization is impeccable, the turn to digital with cashless apps for payments is excellent.

The risk for the future, in our opinion, is to wink a little too much at some trends of contemporary underground culture and related audience niches, even to the detriment of the musical quality that has made this event famous over all these years .
