Noemí Galera said after the final of OT 2023 that one of the great successes of the program’s return had been Chenoa. Assume the role of presenter of an all-terrain format such as Triumph operation It was quite a challenge. She was very aware and accepted it with enthusiasm, work and dedication. Now that the Academy has closed its doors and the lights on the set have gone out, it is time for her to take stock of the experience, one that, like everything else, has marked her forever.
In Spain if you are a singer you cannot dedicate yourself to anything else, and that is a lie

“To know if I like something, it takes time. If I see a performance of Operation Triumph 2001, what’s happening to me? My hands are starting to sweat. I have that capacity for catharsis to return to the place,” says Chenoa in an interview with WECB. “In this case, success was my disciplinary capacity, my will, my loneliness and my moments of not having leisure without any type of problem. I do what I am passionate about, I do what I like, at no time do I think about what I am missing, but rather what I am gaining. Time passes and I am a 48-year-old woman in a stage of life in which I am making a career change and I am really enjoying it.”
For Chenoa it is important that a program like Triumph operation It is driven by a woman. And the thing is, in a world in which television is still led by men, she has demonstrated her worth and her love for the medium. “I think it is important that we have more references. In any news program that we can see we already know who the couple is…I find it amazing“, he says, then remembering the exchange that arose within the Academy between Martin and Juanjo. “Sorry, but I live in 2024 and many things still seem amazing to me. What I liked most about this edition is seeing a couple who love and adore each other. Leave them alone. There is a mania and a national sport that is to get involved in everyone’s things.”

Chenoa does not forget his artistic side. In recent years she has focused a lot on pursuing a career in television. To return to Triumph operation, however, has made him bite the bug. “I have dedicated myself to making TV. In Spain if you are a singer you can’t dedicate yourself to anything else, and that is a lie. It’s something that has to be removed. We see it in American people who do whatever they want. You have to give yourself the opportunity to be flexible and many don’t do it because of what they will say.“, he says, and assures that, despite everything, he has never lost his enthusiasm for music. “Times change, so do trends. My style has always been pop/rock and I like to maintain it. Now it’s not such a trend, but everything comes back. And it is also true that the public asks for what you give them. People go to concerts and want When you go, You nailed me to your cross, Everything will be fine, Routines…They know my repertoire. “It continues to be something that has marked people’s lives.”

To finish, Chenoa talks about the relationship with the contestants of OT 2023 in the real world, one focused on life after the Academy. The presenter says that some have written to her on Instagram and she leaves the doors open to anyone who needs advice or to talk about her problems. “I’m not a long-distance friend, I know what’s happening to you perfectly, but if you want me to be there you just have to call me,” she says. “I have many good and bad things, but credibility is what has cost me the most in life and is what I defend the most. I don’t care if you like me or not, it bothers me. My word is super important and that is worth gold”.
