Discover the official Top Rock & Metal album sales in France SNEP/SCPP/OCC for week 47 (from November 15 to 21, 2024)

This week, a sensational entry from LinkinParkwith From Zero which comes to first place in the top sales list. The American metal group thus achieved its best launch in France in 17 years. He is always followed by Songs of a Lost World of The Cure And Babel Babel ofIndochina.

As for new entries, the Live From Nashville of Nickelback comes to stay in 19th position. Recorded during the tour Get' Rollinthis recording includes guests such as Chris Daughtry, country singers Brantley Gilbert, Josh Ross and Bailey Zimmerman.

British progressive rock band The Pineapple Thief also surprised his fans with the EP Last To Run, including tracks from the writing sessions ofIt Leads to Thistheir latest album, released earlier this year. He is therefore placed in 44th position.

THE METHODOLOGY OF THIS OFFICIAL RANKING

Are eligible for Top Rock & Metal the albums of novelties (marketed for less than three years) rock directories and metal, informed as such by the distributor. This ranking holds sales account of supports as well that farms digital audio and video, according to defined parameters by profession and transcribed in thethe rules of the top developed by the SNEP. The stated aim is to “show the richness and diversity of musical successes that adopted these aesthetics,” explains Alexandre Lasch, general director of SNEP, to the editorial staff. A new classification which fits into a perspective already put in place by the organization: “We had already set up classifications with classical and jazz. We therefore wanted to show more of the successes of rock and metal in France. »
