Carbonne unveils the summer clip for her hit “Imagine”

Music news

Last May, rapper Carbonne was propelled to the forefront thanks to his track “Imagine”. This Monday, November 4, he released the video for the song, which takes us back, for three minutes, to the middle of summer.

It's hard to miss the song “Imagine”. Certified diamond single, this hit from Montpellier Carbonne ranked number 1 on streaming platforms for several weeks this summer. A crazy success for the 27-year-old artist, very attached to his family heritage. My father always rocked me with his guitarhe confided to the microphone of WECB, last June. We were just making music with a guitar and banging on the tables. I wanted all of this to be felt in the music. And I didn't think it could work like that.

Throughout the summer, this warm title had a large audience singing and dancing. Six months after the release of the song, we were no longer expecting it: the music video for “Imagine” has just been revealed this Monday, November 4. Do “with family at home“, it features the singer and his friends under the Mediterranean sun. Guitar, barbecue and a dip in the sea are there. Something to brighten up our gloomy month of November.

In the comments of the YouTube video, users did not hide their joy after their prolonged wait: “Finally the clip it was time to do it!“, “The sound is so good, we waited but it was worth it“, “LThis clip is made from the heart and it feels so good!“, we could read.

A melodious EP

“Imagine” is part of the EP “Par nous-ourselves”, released on July 12, 2024. With this six-track project, Pierrot Onofrio Carbonne, his real name, wanted to show the extent of his artistic palette and affirm his musical style, which he describes as “very melodious“. In an interview with WECB, he details: “It's a mix between slightly acoustic music, where you can hear the guitar and the cajón with current music, even electronic in certain pieces of the EP. It's a mix of all that to make Carbonne.”

The young man began defending his project on stage since last September. His tour will stop at La Cigale in Paris on April 12, 2025.
