Camille Lellouche reveals why she no longer hangs out with Slimane

Music news

In her autobiography “Everything to tell you”, Camille Lellouche reveals many secrets. She returns in particular to her relationship with the singer Slimane. If they were once inseparable, the two of them would no longer speak to each other today.

On March 6, Camille Lellouche will publish her autobiography entitled “Tout te dire”, published by Stock. A book that Télé-Loisirs was able to consult and in which the singer and comedian gives a passage on her relationship with Slimane. The two artists met in their early twenties in a symbolic place:

I meet Slimane in a Karaoke. We got along very well right away. We have in common the rage to succeed, the absolute necessity to sing. He becomes my friend, my friend of piano bars, crazy nights, songs at the top of his lungs in the cool streets of the early Parisian morning. But also the brothers of the galleys… and dreams of the future. We talk about our abysses, the injustice of this profession. We listen to the new stars and ask ourselves: Why not us? “, she writes.

A relationship that ran out of steam

A friendship that strengthens over time as Camille Lellouche begins to be known thanks to his videos on social networks and him, after winning the show “The Voice”. She remembers: “ We will confide in each other our fears, the pressures of the job, we will share advice, reassurance. Over time, we became very intimate, like brother and sister, to the point of crying together at my grandfather’s funeral. »

And yet… even if they seem to retain genuine affection for each other, the nature of their relationship is different today. For what ? “ We don’t hang out anymore. The trials of life have separated us.” confides Camille Lellouche in her autobiography. Despite everything, she will always keep a special place for her former friend and does not close the door to a reunion: “But when chance makes us cross paths, tenderness returns in force and we are always happy to see each other again. »
