Music news

From 13 December “HO WON THE SANREMO FESTIVAL” (la Bussola edizioni) will be available in bookshops and digital stores, the new book by writer, author and record producer MARCO RETTANI and journalist and writer NICO DONVITO.

An immersion in the stories of the 30 artists who told anecdotes and who retraced some of the most important moments of their careers linked to the victory of the Italian song festival.

With the introduction of AMADEUS, the book takes the reader on a sonic and emotional journey through the history of the Festival, capturing the soul of a country in constant transformation. Sanremo is not just a show, it is the vibrant reflection of a nation that sings its history through music.

This volume contains the work of a year, but also the dream of a lifetime: to be able to exclaim “I won the Sanremo Festival” – says Marco Rettani – An event that I have personally experienced differently in the various phases of my existence, first of all as a lover and as a spectator, and then having the privilege of being able to go on that stage as an author, as a record producer, as a producer and as a manager.

What came out of it is the story of a common dream, to somehow arrive at being able to pronounce the phrase we chose as the title.”

We went in search of the winners, their stories and their different visions. We collected testimonies, empathized with every single artist who entrusted us with part of their experience – declares Nico Donvito – It can be said that the chapters of this book were written in symbiosis with each protagonist.

Finally, we are particularly proud of the fact that we have managed to bring into our pages the greatest experts in the sector, the so-called Sanremo elite, prominent personalities of Italian music and the Festival, gathered together in choral form in this historical and emotional story.”
