The fans of blondie We have been dreaming of new material for years and now, we can finally confirm that it is a reality. The New York pop punk band that has been shaking the scene for more than forty years returns with a new album for 2025.

An alternative production

Although the post was published last October, it was now that some more details of this project were known. According to the specialized magazine Billboardthis album will once again be produced by John Congletonknown for his alternative style and who already worked with Blondie on his previous album, Pollinator (2017), the last published by the band so far.

Congleton is a musician, producer and sound engineer who has worked for a large number of artists, but, above all, his production for the self-titled album by the American singer and guitarist St. Vincent stands out, a project for which he won a Grammy in 2015. At 47 years old, Congleton has collaborated with more than a hundred groups and bands including Nile Rogers, Regina Spektor, The Killers, David Byrne, Lana del Rey, Franz Ferdinand and Gossip, to name a few. some.

From the information that has emerged, Blondie's next album promises to be a high-caliber collaborative work, as was the case with its predecessor.

Blondie, a very active formation
