BLACKPINK's Jennie gives updates on her solo album

Music news

BLACKPINK singer Jennie is celebrating Christmas by giving her fans a glimpse behind her highly anticipated solo album through an intimate teaser.

On Christmas Day, Jennie shared a video titled “Goodbye, Hello” in which she gave a personal recap of her 2024, while revealing details about her upcoming solo project. A big surprise for the fans! This video, both retrospective and full of promise, allows the artist to share his thoughts on this great turning point in his musical career.

“A new era for me”

The singer announces that her album will mark a real evolution for her solo career, with sounds very different from those of her previous single “Mantra”: “My album is going to sound very different. I feel like every step is going to be different,” she declares.

She also explains that it took her eleven months to believe that the project was finally ready: “I've never done this before, and people assume it's happened in my life, but I've never really done it alone. I've always had the girls by my side.”she shares, paying tribute to her BLACKPINK partners.

The artist even admits to collaborating with two of his “dream artists” but nevertheless remains mysterious about the song titles and guest artists.

Enough to keep the suspense alive with its fans, especially since the members of BLACKPINK have announced their return in 2025.
