Billy Joel and Sting performed “ Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic ” as well as ” Big Man on Mulberry Street “.

Billy Joel and Sting kicked off their One Night Only concert series in Tampa Bay, where both artists appeared during each other’s concert to perform one of their classics.

Joel introduced the Sting concert at Raymond James Stadium by telling the audience: “ I saw this guy when he came to the States with his band, and I was blown away. It was the late seventies. I thought he was great then, and I think he’s great today. He’s one of my favorite musicians of all time. »

Billy Joel and Sting will perform four more concerts this year, in San Diego, St. Louis, San Antonio and Las Vegas. Joel also has two stadium concerts planned with Stevie Nicks in Arlington, Texas, and Chicago, as well as his first-ever headlining concert with Rod Stewart on September 13 in Cleveland. Amidst all of this, the Piano Man will close out his epic monthly residency at Madison Square Garden on July 25.

In 2024, Joel re-emerged into the public eye with his new single “ Turn the Lights Back On ”, his first new music in decades. The singer also returned to the Grammy stage for the first time in 22 years to perform the song.
