Billboard Italia awarded Anna as Woman Of The Year at the Billboard Women in Music

Billboard Women in Music took place yesterday evening (September 16), the awards ceremony promoted by the iconic American magazine and organized by Billboard Italia, which every year celebrates the most influential women in the music industry and which was held for the first time in Europe, on Monday September 16, at the historic Teatro Manzoni in Milan, one of the cultural symbols of the city.

The first European edition, produced by Vivo Concerti and hosted by Cristiana Capotondi and Maurizio Lastrico, celebrates Italian artists and featured during the evening at the Manzoni: ANNA, who won the Woman Of The Year award, Gaia who received the Hitmaker Of The Year by Radio 105 award and BigMama, with the Breakthrough award. Performing for the audience in the room were Gaia, with a medley of her hits, Federica Abbate, awarded as Songwriter Of The Year and the singer-songwriters Ariete and Bu Cuaron.

The other awards given are: Laura Pausini Icon Award, Elodie Performer Of The Year Award, Rose Villain Impact Of The Year Award, Clara Rising Star Award, Anfisa Letyago DJ Of The Year Award, Marta Salogni Producer Of The Year Award, Marta Donà Manager Of The Year Award, Sara Potente A&R Of The Year Award and Ramona Tabita Stylist by Bellissima Award.

The evening ended with an afterparty at the iconic Rinascente flagship store in Piazza Duomo, enlivened by DJ sets by Anfisa Letyago and Margherita Grechi and performances by Alexia and Gaia and Tony Effe with their summer hit “Sesso e Samba”.
