Benson Boone: this relationship that inspired his hit “Beautiful Things”

Music news

Last January, singer Benson Bonne unveiled “Beautiful Things”, a moving track inspired by his experiences which went around the world.

Talent does not wait for the number of years and Benson Boone seems to have understood this well. After a stint on “American Idol” at the age of 18, it was on TikTok that the young American singer began to make himself known. He subsequently scored three of the biggest hits of recent years with “Ghost Town”, “In The Stars”, then the intense ballad “Beautiful Things” which was a hit in France. A title which has accumulated 1.5 billion plays.

A former relationship that “terrified” him

If “Beautiful Things” is so successful, it is undoubtedly because Benson Boone decided to express himself through the lyrics, evoking a feeling that speaks to many people, the fear of abandonment. “For the first time in my life, I felt like I had no control over how this relationship would turn out.” confides the 22-year-old singer to Billboard.

He continues: “In the past, I feel like I always knew I could be the one to end a relationship. This time it was very different. It was the first time I was truly terrified of losing something.”

It remains to be seen what Benson Boone's long-term future will look like, but there is no doubt that it will be particularly bright. In any case, he takes the path.
