Benidorm Fest 2024 bets already indicate favorite candidates

Music news

The countdown has started. In less than ten days, on January 30, the 2024 edition of the Benidorm Song Festival, now known as Benidorm Fest, will officially kick off and Eurofans are already in full excitement. The new selection of artists prepared by the Spanish Radiotelevision corporation and several musical experts comes loaded with very different profiles and with great artistic quality that will make the decision of the Thursdays and the jury very difficult, in whose hands will be the final selection of the representative of Spain in the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest to be held next May in Malmö, Sweden.

The Benidorm Fest 2024 casting includes a little of everything. Groups that are pure pop like Marlena, Miss Caffeína and Mantra or the soloist Yoli Saa and ; others in which sarcasm and satire are the protagonists of a synthpop sound, such as the case of Neubulosa, formed by María Bas and Mark Dasousa; some other bet that gives prominence to pop-rock as is the case of Noan and Angy Fernández; ballads like those of Quique Niza and Roger Padrós and even a bolero that comes from the hand of St Pedro.

The edition is promising and after the Chanelazo in Turin and Blanca Paloma’s iconic performance in Liverpool, Spain cannot lower the bar! Therefore, now the big question is: Which of the 16 candidates traveling to Malmö in 2024 will be the one who finally manages to represent Spain in the 68th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest?
