Baustelle “a story” the new single (watch the video)

Music news

A story It is the new song of the Baustelle, a song that sinks in the darkest folds of current affairs.

As the title suggests, it is a possible story – explains Francesco Bianconi. It is more specifically a black news story: it is told of a girl, teenager, who was involved in a fact of some type documented on social networks. The narrative develops through the voice of the protagonist, the victim of yet another tragedy.

The song is part of the band's research path, which has always experimented with the form-chanzone, disrupting the narrative canons and perhaps represents the most 'open' story that the band has ever told. The single is a journey between pain and reflection, a chronicle that becomes poetry, a story that stages the fragility and brutality of the present.

The video

The output of the song is accompanied by the video clip a Borotalco.tv production for the creative direction of Gianluca Fracassi and the direction of Pier Francesco Cari – which represents a further discovery of the atmosphere of this new album: at the center of the scene a girl who listens to the events narrated by the Baustelle, who appear in some frames. The scenario recalls that of the video clip of “changing me” and shows the character of this album, inspired by the California of the 60s.
