BAR ITALIA – “The Twits” the new album by the London band that loves Italy

Music news

“The Twits” is out, the new album by Bar Italia, a London band made up of Nina Cristante, Jezmi Tarik Fehmi and Sam Fenton.

‘The Twits’ was recorded over eight weeks in February 2023 in a makeshift home studio in Mallorca and was mixed by Marta Salogni.

The charm and attention of the English band is their mix of eclectic and original music. The band formed in 2020 and released a couple of EPs but their debut album, “Tracey Denim” arrives in May 2023.
The album received positive reviews from critics, who praised the band’s ability to blend different musical genres, including post-punk, indie rock and trip-hop.

Bar Italia’s sound has been described as “raucous, mystical, messy, occasionally sinister and totally committed”. Their songs are characterized by evocative lyrics and catchy melodies. The band is also known for its energetic and engaging live shows.

In recent weeks the band has also passed through Italy for four dates. An intense evening where the English trio showcased their sonic essence.
