An era is over: Britney Spears confirms that she will not return to music

Music news

Pop loses one of its greatest exponents. Britney Spears has used his favorite social network to officially announce that he will never return to music ever again. After a few turbulent years, the artist has made the decision to retire from the front lines of the music industry. The comebacks are over and that war cry of “It’s Britney, Bitch” is over.

The latest events in the life of the titular pop princess have been key for Britney to make this drastic decision. He won the legal battle against his father and regained control of his life after years and years of releasing records and doing tours that he didn’t want to do.. She also put an end to her marriage to model Sam Asghari and published a book with her memoirs so that her fans and the rest of the curious could understand her story and her future away from the world of music.

“To be clear, most of the news is garbage!” Britney Spears wrote in an Instagram post, thus denying the information that claimed she was working on a new album. “They keep saying I’m going to use random people to make a new album. “I will never go back to the music industry!!!”.

Composer in the shadows

He will not release an album nor will he tour the world. However, Britney Spears will continue to be linked to the industry as a shadow composer, another artistic facet that she is now enjoying. “When I write, I write for fun or I write for other people,” explains the singer of Womanizer. “I’ve written over twenty songs for other people in the last two years. “I am a ghost composer and I honestly enjoy it that way.”.

Britney Spears has also taken advantage of this publication to deny those who claim that her book, The woman that I am, was published without his approval. “That is far from the truth,” says the popstar.

We have to assimilate the news and assume that we will not hear a tenth studio album by Britney Spears nor will we see her again on stage performing her most iconic hits. It’s time to close a cycle, although, as always happens with pop divas, hope is the last thing to be lost, right?
