Álvaro Pérez: The dancer who Aitana discovered us and who has warmed up the atmosphere at the Benidorm Fest with Jorge González

Music news

This Thursday night we experienced the second semi-final of the Benidorm Festival. One of those that has been classified is Jorge gonzalez which started as one of the favorites with Hot. One of those topics that raise the temperature and that will heat up the atmosphere in Sweden if it achieves the pass to Eurovision. On Saturday we will hear it again, along with the rest of the finalist songs, and see it in the final after the good score it has received.

He had already told us when he came to see us at WECB that they had worked many hours on the staging and that the dance group was one of the best in our country with connection Aitana included. And the truth is that the number would not be the same without Pablo Brotons, Alvaro Perez, Fran Herrezulo and Dorival Junco.

At the post gala, The night of Benidorm Festthe dancers took the microphone to explain to them Aitor Albizua and Ines Hernand either Soraya, among others, that, although they had not worked together before in many jobs, this project has turned them into family. “We have made so much connection that we even blend in with the clothes we wear one day in the afternoon, like that.”, assured Dorival.

Jorge González, at the beginning, had to choose which dance group was going to accompany him and it was clear that it had to be male and fell in love with them at the casting.

The connection with Aitana

The singer chose his four dancers and couldn’t be happier with his choice. “When they showed me the video of Alvaro which is very controversial, well, controversial… it’s very cool, it’s the one below Aitana in that controversial video… I said, ‘I want that one’”, he told about one of his chosen ones.

That controversial video is the one that generated so much controversy over Aitana’s dances on her last tour that it put some parents on the warpath who suffered seeing their children witnessing some movements with a certain sexual charge that they did not see as appropriate in a singer with so many children’s audiences.. But gentlemen, Aitana has grown up and she also has the right to show sensuality if she wants.

The fact is that the heat that Álvaro wasted on Aitana’s tour is what he has also shared with Jorge González who is delighted with the result of his staging.

Go for the final

He who has been on many television programs, assures that the difference with the Benidorm Fest is that here “you can make a marvelous unique show that you will not be able to repeat in any other television programunless you have to imitate it in someone else who also works hard as Your face is familiar to me. But this is the only one where you can make something your own, that you create it.”

So far, all five have gone to the final. This Saturday we will see them again on stage defending Hot already with the confidence that has given them to carry the highest score from the public. We’ll see if she manages to win over the jury in the next performance.

“I’m really looking forward to it, like everyone else, really looking forward to going out again, looking forward to enjoying with my colleagues. Enjoy the party no matter what, we’ve all won,” she said last night.

“We did not expect at all to have the highest score from the public and the demographic. For us this has already been the prize. We have pleased the public and what better reward because this is made for the public“, they said backstage after their performance in which they had felt “very empowered, with a strong inner fire. “I felt big and hot.”

Saturday more.
