Álvaro de Luna sings about the love that could not be in ‘Unknowns’: “It hurt, but it’s over”

Music news

Álvaro de Luna releases a new song and that means one thing: thousands of eyes will analyze his lyrics. The Sevillian artist always delights with songs of love and heartbreak, but in recent months we can’t help but pay more attention to what he says. After declaring in Everything with you and wish the best to his ex-partner, Laura Escanes, in Luck 😉 with hints in each stanza, premieres Unknownthis time accompanied by the Argentine singer Asan.

Will it be the song that completes the trilogy? Unknowns talks about a past love, which was left half-finished, which seemed to be everything, but ended up being forgotten. “As strangers, we accidentally screwed up. By meeting you, I got lost on the road. It hurt, but it’s over“says the song. We don’t know if, after throwing him beef to his ex – or at least seem like it – is now singing to him from the distance they maintain, after so much love they have been able to give each other.

A message possibly known to everyone

The song talks about a story that, for a time, had a future, but everything remained a ‘could have been and it wasn’t’. A media relationship where the paparazzi chase him, but it doesn’t pay him to keep track of them: “With sunglasses running away from the press, I follow my thing, I’m not into that shit.” That’s how she expresses it and we can understand what she’s about, right?

Unknown is composed of his own Alvaro de Luna next to Asan and the musician Renzo Lucaknown for participating in several sessions of Bizarre. The video clip, filmed with cropped shots in two rooms, features both singers who perform each of their verses using a retro aesthetic, but maintaining a current harmony.

If the suspicions are true, the story is worth a book. And Laura Escanes, far from any controversy, is ignoring everything related to the person who was her partner for more than a year. This week she spoke out with a humorous video where she explained the reasons for getting back with an ex, while she put on makeup. A track? She didn’t say anything (and, in general terms, we can’t take away her reason). Sometimes, it’s better to leave the past in the past.

We don’t know if the song Alvaro de Luna Is it a declaration of intentions or does he just want to express what he felt at some point, but Unknown it sounds very, very good. We leave you the lyrics here.

Lyrics of ‘Unknowns’

I no longer miss your look

Now that I’m far from you

I think of you from bed

Because everything has been screwed, yeah

We did not lack the desire

To rock the nights of Madrid

We over-brake

We screwed up the flowers in the garden

We walk away, distancing ourselves

We buy tickets for different planes

We swore to take care of ourselves and now look at us

like strangers

Because now talking is forbidden, oh oh

Everything we live

It fell into oblivion

It hurt, but it’s over

like strangers

We accidentally screwed up

for meeting you

I got lost on the way

It hurt, but it’s over

It hurts every day to have to pretend

I don’t think about you, I don’t miss you, I don’t want you here

If I cross you I’m going to pretend that I didn’t even know you

Let’s see if I can take your memory off of me

And to give you colors I lost my nuance

Your scratches on my back are already a scar

I couldn’t hit it like that because

Such an important role for a bad actress

And here I thought it was the right one

I am not interested in you or your hints

With sunglasses fleeing from the press

I follow mine, I’m not for that shit

like strangers

Because now talking is forbidden, oh oh

Everything we live

It fell into oblivion

It hurt, but it’s over

like strangers

We accidentally screwed up, oh oh

for meeting you

I got lost on the way

It hurt, but it’s over

And like strangers

like strangers

like strangers
