Alizzz spends the night in suspense in ‘Despertar’, her collaboration with María Arnal

Music news

Eight months have passed since his last single Sex on the beach with Amaia and just over a year since the release of their EP Boycott. However, when we thought that this year Alizzz I would take it on white and sabbatical, has returned with very good news: Wake up, a collaboration with María Arnal which, in turn, is the first single from her next project.

Along with the song, the Catalan artist has shared a video clip directed by Félix Bollain and produced by Roma, in which he introduces us to his dream and subconscious universe to make us participate in his deep dream (or is it his reality?). “If I get closer, she disappears. When I kiss her, she disappears. I don’t understand, what is happening to me? Is this real or am I dreaming?”asks its interpreter in the pre-chorus.

It is a song in which the guitars from the previous stage are enhanced and which once again has the same essence of their previous works accompanied by a very clean voice, full of personality and nuances, like Amaia or Rigoberta.

As we have already mentioned, this It is just the beginning of everything that comes from now on. “Hold on, curves are coming… And until April without rest“, he noted in the first post that can be seen on his Instagram profile. And Cristian has made a clean slate to present what will be his second studio album after There has to be something more (2021).

In that same publication, the producer also arrived by car at a parking lot with views of the sea and ignored the voice message he was receiving. “Cristian, you’ve been non-stop for years, if you’re making an album for that one, if you’re making an album for the other one, if your album… Stop and enjoy yourself a little, f*ck. Sleep your hours, exercise, eat healthy and quit smoking once and for all, right? Look, this year you’re going to take it easy. This year you’re not going to do anything. Hey, are you listening to me?” is heard on the other side of the phone. It is evident that Our protagonist doesn’t even plan to rest, stop making music, or stop smoking.

The next thing you hear is the verse of a new song: “Get in next to me because I’m driving today…”so it’s time to let yourself be carried away by the magic of Alizzz once again.
