Aitana clarifies her future as an actress: “My priority is to be a singer, but…”

Music news

There is less and less left to see the first movie of Aitana. Next April 12, Netflix premieres Wall with Wall, a romantic comedy in which the artist debuts as a film actress alongside Fernando Guallar. However, her future as an actress is not entirely clear, as the singer herself has said in an interview.

In a conversation with Number Netherlands, Aitana recalled the reason that led her to take the step. She was interested in trying herself as a performer and, after rejecting several projects, she decided to say ‘yes, I want’ to a series with Disney + as the protagonist alongside her ex-partner, actor Miguel Bernardeaú. “It has been a year or more since The last and it is a beautiful project that I will always carry in my heart,” he says. “AND Wall with Wall I shot it literally a week after The last. It was very powerful to enter the world of acting doing both projects so closely together and playing two very different characters.

So much The last as wall to wall They were projects that she took on with enthusiasm, but combining them with her musical career led her to sacrifice her social life. She admits that she was very happy during that time. However, she has now decided to completely prioritize her career as a singer. She has received several offers to do other projects, but she is not in those right now. “My priority is to be a singer. For me, that is the number one thing in life, it is what makes me happiest. “I love composing, I love singing, I love being on stage,” explains the singer of my love.

Of course, he does not rule out returning to acting if the project is worth it. “If a great opportunity comes my way and I can have the time to prepare and do it with all the love of my life, then I will be the happiest to do it.”, he assures.

Your new goal

Aitana is immersed in her artistic project and will soon kick off her new era. There is a desire to know the new directions that the singer is going to take after the resounding success of alpha. She wants to give it her all and has set several goals. “I want to be able to internationalize my music more and reach more places.. I think it’s nice to cross borders and I also love to travel and learn about other cultures. It is what I look forward to most, traveling, learning new things and expanding my music,” she explains. “What I think people can expect from me this year is that I’m not going to stop. “I am going to compose non-stop all over the world, I am going to meet many producers, many artists and enjoy my work like never before.”
