AFTERHOURS: a new edition and a celebratory tour for the twenty years of “Ballads for Little Iene” (Info and Tickets)

Music news

20 years after its first publication, Afterhours' “Ballate per Piccole Iene” returns in a special reissue. Manuel Agnelli reunites the historic lineup for a celebratory tour that will start in June 2025.

To celebrate this milestone, Manuel Agnelli has decided to reunite the band's original lineup, composed of Andrea Viti (bass), Dario Ciffo (violin, guitar) and Giorgio Prette (drums). The decision comes after numerous requests from fans who asked to listen to the album live in its entirety.

When the possibility of republishing Ballade per Piccole Iene arose, I received many requests to play it live again, in its entirety,” says Agnelli. “At that moment I thought that playing it with the band at the time would give a deeper meaning to everything.

A phone call to his traveling companions from that season was enough. After two hours, the band was back together again.”

THE CELEBRATIVE TOUR

The return to the scene of this historic formation will give life to a celebratory tour that will start on June 26th from Bologna, with 16 dates planned throughout Italy. A unique opportunity to relive live the energy and spirit that made Ballate per Piccole Iene one of the most loved and influential albums of Italian music.
