The song anticipates the release of a new album for Morgan entitled “…E QUINDI INSOMMA OSSIA” due out next year.
The collaboration between Morgan and Panella was born as part of the publication of the book of poems Parole d’aMorgan which the Milanese singer-songwriter published for Baldini+Castoldi.
To his request to be able to enrich the volume with a preface by the Roman lyricist, Panella responded with an “infaction” – neither preface nor afterword – which essentially led to the creation of as many poems, a sort of commentary in verse on the texts of Morgan.
An artistic comparison of this kind could not be resolved only on paper. And in fact, Morgan decided immediately afterwards to set some of Panella’s poems to music to pay homage to him.
