AC/DC will arrive in Italy for a concert of their POWER UP European Tour on Saturday 25 May at the RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia.
The tour dedicated to POWER UP, their latest studio album which reached number one in the charts in 21 countries around the world, will see the band perform 21 shows in Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, England, Slovakia, Belgium, France and Ireland next summer.
POWER UP will be their first tour in Europe in more than eight years and will see the band take to the stages of the continent’s largest stadiums and arenas.
THE TOUR
AC/DC performed for the first time on December 31, 1973 at Checkers Nightclub in Sydney, Australia. They are today one of the most influential bands in history, with over 200 million albums sold worldwide. Back In Black is the best-selling album by a band in history and the third best-selling album ever by an artist, with sales of over 50 million copies worldwide. AC/DC were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fameยฎ in 2003 as well as the Music Victoria Awards Hall of Fame in their home country of Australia. The band continues to sell out stadiums on several continents, sell millions of albums every year and generate billions of streams.
To honor their fifty years as the greatest rock and roll band in the world, AC/DC โ Angus Young on lead guitar, Brian Johnson on vocals, Stevie Young on rhythm guitar, Matt Laug on drums and a new bassist continue the work of Cliff Williams โ they will return to play for their legions of fans who continue to grow year after year.
