Spike Lee has confirmed that A$AP Rocky will join the cast of his next film, Highest 2 Lowestan ambitious project that reinterprets the classic High and Low (1963) Akira Kurosawa. In a recent interview with deadlinethe acclaimed director explained that the film, produced by A24 in collaboration with Apple Original Filmswill be released next year and will also feature Denzel Washington and the rapper Ice Spice in her debut as an actress.

This new version changes the context of the shoemaker from the original film to that of a music industry magnate.
