“What music was listened to in…. ” new appointment with our column. For this episode we returned to the top of 1984 also drawn up by the prestigious English magazine Nme.

The darkness dark gods The Jesus And Mary Chain conquers the Nme charts in 1985. First, second and sixth place among the singles and second place among the albums, the Glasgow formation of brothers William and Jim Reid hits the mark with “Psychocandy”, one of their most inspired albums.

It’s in the singles chart Kate Bush with Running Up That Hill which became famous again last year. Instead he makes his debut towards mid-table Madonna with Into The Groove.

Among the top albums there is Tom Waits with “Rain Dogs” and followed by a couple of musical masterpieces such as: i Prefab Sprout of “Steve McQueen”, i The Smiths with “Meat Is Murder”, i Sonic Youth of “Bad Moon Rising”, the Style Council of “Our Favorite Shop”, i New Order of “Low Life”, i Talking Heads by “Little Creatures” ei Propaganda of “A Secret Wish”.
