The English composer shared on her social networks that she will finally release a new solo album, where she brings together more than 10 years of experiences and music. She knows the details.
Beth Gibbons vocalist of Portishead, announced that after a long wait he will be able to offer new music. Lives Outgrown will be released soon via Domino Records, with an sKetch of what would be the cover on a CD, the artist’s decade-long project finally sees the light.
For Gibbons This album was born as the catharsis of his experiences of adulthood, with a sound that experiments with his abilities as an artist: “it reflects what has happened to me inside, my 50 years brought a new, but old, horizon. It has been a time of farewells, to my family, friends, even to who I was before, the lyrics reflect my anxieties and thoughts on sleepless nights, that’s why Lives Outgrown”, comments the composer in a handwritten note.

This project continues the solo releases of Beth Gibbons like their 2002 album Out Of Season, hoping to be an intimate album, with the same exploration in the musical sense. The singer added: “I hope those who have been so loyal and supportive over the years, as well as new listeners, enjoy it.”
