badbadnotgood just released the single, “Take What’s Given”via XL Recordingsin collaboration with emerging Houston vocalist, Reggie. This new song, recorded in Los Angeles in Valentine Studios over several sessions in 2023, it is a unique fusioncountry, funk and arjazz-style rules characteristic of the band.
The new release, “Take What’s Given“, is a song in which the group originally from Canada tries a slight change in their style by exploring country sounds in collaboration with the vocalist Reggie. This single emerged during sessions in 2022, while they were experimenting in the studio and Reggie he improvised lyrics, resulting in an infectious song recorded in just a few takes.
From your album Talk Memory at the end of 2021, badbadnotgood has not stopped and has participated in various collaborations and tours around world festivals. She has even received her fifth nomination for Grammy for his remix of “Alien Love Call” of Turnstile.
