The powerful and energetic voice of the American composer, Brittany Howard, surprise with “Prove It To You”a song made with the help of Shawn Everett (The Killers, SZA, Miley Cyrus, Adele).

In this new single, Howard ventured into producing Reason Drum Sequencerthis is the first time he has explored virtual drum machines, marking a turn towards dance music.

I wanted to write a fun dance track that made you want to dance, but at the same time lyrically looked at the complexities of being in a relationship. “I love those songs that might not be exactly what they appear to be on the surface,” Brittany Howard mentioned in a press release.

The anticipated album, already classified as essential in 2024 by media such as New York Timesrepresents a musical evolution for Howard. With 12 captivating tracks ranging from psychedelia to avant-jazz, WHAT NOW follows on the heels of Howard’s successful solo debut. This album will be available on February 9th through Island Records.
