Walter Trout invites Beth Hart

Music news

Discover “Broken”, the new song by American bluesman Walter Trout, featuring singer Beth Hart.

Walter Trout releases a brand new single called “Broken”. We find there in particular the singer Beth Hart. Check out his lyric video via the player below:

“I told myself that my friend Beth Hart could be in ‘Broken’” explains the American bluesman in a press release. “In this piece, I look at the world, especially what’s happening in the United States, but I also think about getting over what happened to me. It was almost too much for me to put my nose into that shit again. So my wife, Marie, helped me write the lyrics. She hit the nail on the head. The guitar solo is perhaps my favorite on the record. I recorded it with the band in one take. I wanted to improve it, but they wouldn’t let me! »

Broken is also the title of Walter Trout’s next album, due out March 1st. “I’ve always tried to write positive songs, but that’s not the case with this record,” he says. “But I still cling to hope. I think that’s why I wrote this record. » We also find “Bleed”, recorded with harmonica player Will Wilde. Dee Snider, singer and mastermind of Twisted Sister, is also a guest on the track “I’ve Had Enough”. His previous album, Ride, released in 2022, contained the track “Waiting for the Dawn”.

See you on April 30 at the Alhambra (Paris) for his next concert in France. Places are available via the organizer’s website.
