TR/ST EP includes the official release of “Slug”, a 2015 song.

The Canadian musician releases a surprise EP, only to announce that a new era of music is approaching. Enjoy the cover of “Being Boring”, a classic english duet Pet Shop Boys.

TR/ST EP is just the beginning of a series of releases from the composer, released via Dais Records, This collection of songs announces his new collaboration with the label and his work on a new full-length album. In five tracks It reminds us of its synth pop essence and the musical possibilities that await us.

Within the EP, there is the cover of “Being Boring”, launched by Pet Shop Boys in 1990, in collaboration with Jake Shears (Scissor Sisters). In this rendition, the song takes a more confessional side, adding a new layer of synths and transforming its synth pop essence into a darkwave anthem.

In addition, you can listen to a collaboration with Cecile Believe, “Run,” and the song “Slug”, officially released eight years after its premiere on YouTube. This EP is the perfect opportunity to revisit the unique sound of Robert Alfons and wait for the new album that the musician is preparing.
