The Swedish singer passing through Paris, talks to WECB about her collaboration with David Guetta, her new hit but also about her next album “Venus”. An interview with Tom Hannane.

For her return, Zara Larsson draws on her personal experiences. The singer delivers an intimate song “You love who you love” which addresses the subject of toxic relationships. In this song, which she describes as “pop and festive”, the Swedish star addresses a friend and begs her to end a romance that is going wrong.

A story that recalls the Swedish star’s difficult past with an ill-intentioned lover. “I have been very luckyshe explains on the microphone of WECB. He was crazy. At the same time, I met someone who treated me really well and who I fell in love with. But it can be difficult to get out of these relationships, especially the ones where you continue to cry and make up.”

“You love who you love” is taken from Zara Larsson’s new album, “Venus”, which is scheduled for release on February 9. A not insignificant choice of title since it is a nod to the goddess of love in Roman mythology. “Love is the most important thing in my life. I love singing about love.“, she reveals.

“Venus” also features Zara Larsson’s collaboration with David Guetta “On my love”. A duo expected seven years after their hit “This One’s for You”. “He is the only artist to have participated in this project. I love working with him.”reveals the young 26-year-old artist.
