Louis Arlette unveils the single “Magnifique”

On the occasion of the release of the album Chrysalide, singer and musician Louis Arlette reveals a new piece taken from it.

After singing the praises of “lapis lazuli blue”, Louis Arlette unveils a new single entitled “Magnifique”. Driven by a throbbing beat and hypnotic arpeggios, this title allows the musician to declaim his melancholic and poetic text with his characteristic phrasing. Check it out via the player below:

This is an extract from Chrysalis, his new studio album, also available this Friday, January 26. Although this is his fourth album, this disc nevertheless marks a total artistic rebirth on the part of Louis Arlette. “I really returned to the source of what made me love French song: the text” he explains in an interview with the editorial staff which will be available soon. “I didn’t want to put (my lyrics) to music at first. Then the rhythm of the words calling out to each other made me think it was musical. (…) This makes it my most personal, most intimate and even most intimate record. »

We also find the first extract, “Lapis Lazuli”, unveiled in December 2023. This title also marked a break in the musician’s work. It arrived after EP 5, in which certain old songs, notably “La Rage”, were presented in a new form.
