After spending Christmas at home with his family and friends, Ed Sheeran has hit the road again, restarting his Mathematics World Tour 2024. The tour with which he closes his pentalogy of mathematical symbols live (and in the process his album Autumn Variations) has taken him to Dubai where he has begun to live new adventures that he has shared with his millions of followers around the world .
After performing for two nights before more than 100,000 spectators in a packed stadium, The Briton has spoken wonderfully about his audience in the Middle East: “I had never felt energy like that. They were loud at the points where they needed to be “Loud and quiet at points where they needed to be quiet. It was an incredible show.”
But as always happens in all the live shows on his tour, the Brit found enough time to surprise many young people from that country and also to satisfy his more touristy side. The first viral surprise came when he went to a famous music store in the area for a meeting with future artists before whom he offered a very close performance.
When asked by the little ones, Ed Sheeran confessed that he writes every day and thus always finds something of quality in his compositions and that the fault that he started playing the guitar at the age of 11 was Eric Clapton at the tribute concert to the Queen.
Between concerts, the musician also had time to escape to the desert and enjoy the dunes, the desert landscapes and the local hospitality. Although he made it clear that the next time he visited the area he would take an umbrella, a bottle of water and a camel to fight the sun: “I don’t think the desert is made for red-haired people.”
Ed Sheeran is now heading to the Far East where he will perform in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and India before kicking off his festival stage in the United States in May. A stage that will bring you to Spain on June 29 to the Heliodoro Rodríguez López stadium in Tenerife and a week later, on July 6, to the Gozo Festival in Santiago de Compostela.
