MATTEO ALIENO returns with "Normale", written together with MOTTA

Matteo Alieno returns with the song Normalwritten by the same singer-songwriter and produced by Motta (out Friday 26 January).

Author, multi-instrumentalist and producer, Alieno is among the new proposals of Roman and Italian singer-songwriters.

Thanks to his sincerity and sweetness, with his acclaimed talent over time he has been able to capture the audience and judges of solution to this discomfort by trying to find refuge in the relationship with the person who finally manages to make him feel understood.

An elegant, vintage and cool production. The single, with precious gears and pure sounds, is embellished even more by the choice to record the instruments in an analogue way, which gives the piece a decidedly classic look with contemporary nuances.

The X factor experience ended recently and taught me a lot but, above all, I met people who I will take with me along my present and future path. In fact it was a bit like going back to high school, I imagine we will have a class dinner in the future to see everyone again and tell each other about old adventures” – says Matteo Alieno about the X Factor -.

And about the song:

Normale” is an honest song and comes at a precise moment in my life in which I often felt a little out of place (as always, after all). Unlike other times, however, here I finally have the courage and the opportunity to talk about it.”

Normale also features an important name on the current musical scene, Motta:

It was wonderful to be able to work on this piece together with Motta (who produced it). I remember that he welcomed me into his studio in Trastevere and for me it was like breathing new air, true lifeblood and music. He has marked my way of making music over time: it is an honor for me to be able to have the opportunity to work together with one of my idols today. For this song we talked a lot, he wanted to listen to the piece well and then decided to remove all the superstructures to let out what I wanted to say and make it arrive immediately. In short, I felt it present and, inevitably, normal. Just like me”.

After the two sold out concerts in Rome and Milan scheduled for the end of January, the artist will return to play around the clubs in May 2024, thus being able to see and meet all his supporters live:

It will be the first time I’ll go for a walk around Italy with musicians… I can’t even imagine what could happen… I’m already laughing just thinking about it, I love them too much.”
