The Smashing Pumpkins have eight people employed full-time to review applications for the guitar position.

Hoping to join the Smashing Pumpkins as a new guitarist? You are not alone. Apparently, more than 10,000 people applied for the position, following the advert launched by the rock band earlier this month.

In a post on social media, the Smashing Pumpkins confirmed they had received thousands of applications for the position. “ Currently, eight people work full time to examine each of them “, wrote the group.
