Kanye West has had an $850,000 titanium prosthesis implanted in his mouth

The news is this: Kanye West showed off his new titanium grillz inspired by Jaws, one of the villains from the 1977 James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me and 1979’s Moonraker.

Many on social media speculated that Ye had had all his teeth removed to install the new dentures and news began to circulate in several US media outlets that the rapper had actually had his teeth removed, but fortunately this is not the case.

The procedure adopted by Kanye is called fixed prosthesis. Basically the grillz, designed by Ye together with his doctor and made of titanium, palladium, platinum and other precious metals, is simply fixed on his teeth. According to Complex, dentist Thomas Connelly, who worked with Ye on the procedure, confirmed that Kanye still has all of Ye’s teeth.
