This piece is taken from Vacuum Mechanicstheir second studio album, released in November 2023. Interviewed by the editorial staff, Marc Berg, guitarist of the group, explains the origin of the title: “In the composition process, we realized that the concept of emptiness came up often, whether in the titles of songs (“Le Vide à l’envers”, “Sous le vide”), or even the name of our group, Undervoid. »

A title which allows the group to highlight the different reading levels of its texts: “It also allows us to convey this idea of chiaroscuro, this contrast between heavy and hard themes and a touch of hope. We are caught in a spiral that seems to have no way out, which leads us into emptiness. »
