At the top of the singles chart is Michael Jackson with Billie Jean Among the albums, Elvis Costello stands out with “Punch The Clock”.

He returns to the rankings David Bowie with his Let’s Dance, two songs by The Smiths, they make their first appearance U2 of Bono and associatesthe Style Councils by Paul Weller and Mike Talbot, the Eurythmics by Annie Lennox, Paul Young and Prince who debuts with his album “1999”.
