This is therefore a new extract from Black Fridayhis next studio album, which will be released on January 26. “I recorded these songs between last winter and spring of this year” comments Tom Odell. “I tried to keep them as minimally produced as possible, in the hope that they would best reflect what I was feeling at the time. These songs mean a lot to me. »

Tom Odell will come to defend this record on April 7 in Paris during a concert initially planned at the Salle Pleyel, to be finally moved to the Zénith in Paris. Places are available. He will also be on the bill at the La Nuit de l’Erdre festival on July 4.

In an interview given to the editorial staff soon available, the singer discusses his approach to live performance: “Some bands play over a recorded track, which I don’t understand at all. For me, live performance comes with a certain spontaneity, which is accompanied by mistakes and improvisation to a certain degree. »
