LOVEBITES arrive in Italy in Milan for a single concert (Info & Tickets)

Music news

The Lovebites, the all-female power metal band that quickly conquered fans of the genre, arrive in Italy for the first time from the Land of the Rising Sun. The appointment is for Wednesday 19 June 2024 at the Legend Club in Milan.

Lovebites were formed in Tokyo in 2016 from the union of Asami (vocals), Midori and Miyako (guitars), Miho (bass) and Haruna (drums). For their debut EP The Lovebites EP they collaborate with Finns Mikko Karmila and Mika Jussila, known for their work with Nightwish, Children of Bodom and Amorphis. This release was followed by the full length Awakening From The Abyss which allowed the band to embark on a series of concerts in the UK for the first time. In 2018, Lovebites released two more works, Battle Against Damnation and Clockwork Immortality, which gained the attention of international critics and won the band the title of Best New Band at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards. After a one-year break and the farewell of bassist Miho – replaced by Fami – in February 2023 the band released their fourth studio album Judgment Day, which reached number 5 on the Oricon and Billboard Japan charts.

The Lovebites also have an intense live activity behind them: in addition to headlining tours, the band has participated in a long series of festivals – including Vans Warped Tour Japan 2018, Headstrong Fes.18, Wacken Open Air, Download Festival, Graspop Metal Meeting and Bloodstock Open Air – and has opened for Arch Enemy, DragonForce and Halestorm.
