The year 2024 begins with a bang with The Lemon Twigs, who unveil a new, unreleased track, entitled “My Golden Years”. Discover its clip, directed by Ambar Navarro, via the player below:

This track “evokes the good years, the ups and downs that we go through, especially when we are a young group starting their career. » explain the D’Addario brothers. “This translates into situations like being broke and getting fired! It’s very difficult to face rejection. » On the music side, they ironically describe that “Mark Ruffalo or people who hike might enjoy this piece. Or it can go with a workout. »

“My Golden Years” is the first unreleased single to be released since Everything Harmonythe latest album from the New York group, released in spring 2023. “Corner Of My Eye”, “Any Time Of Day” and “Every Day Is The Worst Day Of My Life”.

Interviewed by the editorial staff, Michael D’Addario explained how personal this album was for him: “I went through a long period of reflection during and after the lockdowns. I think I spent more time thinking about the songs than turning the page on the personal events that provided them with material. Until now, we lived with our parents, with free access to the home studio where we recorded tons of songs, night and day. »

Still as prolific, The Lemon Twigs have other surprises in store for their fans for 2024…
