It’s been 3 and a half years since it saw the light I continue to do my thingthe most recent album by Abraham Mateo. During that time, the soloist from Cádiz has not been stopped and has been publishing a lot of new material with which he has been consolidating a musical career now dedicated to urban Latin sounds.
With a firm step and without stopping working and promoting, creating and associating, the artist has been making a name for himself in the Spanish music scene in which he has been for a whopping 15 years. And there is nothing better to celebrate such a round figure than a new musical adventure that he himself has been in charge of confirming through social networks.
Through his official Instagram account, he has published a series of photographs that have served as a summary of everything achieved in 2023 and how much and good will come in 2024: “In 2023 I have done things that I never thought that could and all with you… 🫶🏼 2024! We are going to break it… watch out for the spoiler… The album is coming!! 😝💽”.
Abraham Mateo thus sets a date for the release of his seventh studio album. Of course, at the moment it has not officially revealed or confirmed its title, which songs will be part of it (or if some of those released in recent months are going to be part of the album) and which collaborators could be invited to this job.
It is clear that his two most important premieres in 2023 have been his collaboration with Chanel for Clavaíto and his version of Maniac in Maniac (WECB Issue 1 in November 2023). But we have also seen him working with Sebastián Yatra, Ana Mena, Vicco… in recent times.
Abraham Mateo has become one of the most complete artists on the national scene at a musical, compositional, production and even dance and choreography level. A striking, modern proposal adapted to the times and the demand of a public that continues to demand local artists that they can enjoy in the short distance.
He has six albums on the market, two of them certified as Gold Records. and one of them Platinum, has toured both Spain and Latin America, performing in such important venues as the National Auditorium and the Metropolitan Theater in Mexico City, the Luna Park Stadium and the Gran Rex Theater in Buenos Aires; and the Wizink Center in Madrid, among others. In addition, he has collaborated with artists such as Jennifer López, Farruko, Luis Fonsi, 50 Cent and Alejandro Sanz, among many others.
Now it’s his turn to continue enjoying making new music and surprising his fan base to continue adding successes to his career.
