Playlist: TOP 100 of 2023 – The ranking

Music news

Like every year, we have compiled the top 100 hits of 2023, also available in playlist version on Spotify.

The chart is a weighted average between sales and streaming (FIMI data) and radio airplay (EarOne).

The winner is the summer megahit of the revived The Kolors (β€œItalodisco” is by far the most programmed song on the radio this year and is on its way to its fifth platinum disc), followed by β€œAsh” by Lazza, also second at the Festival (most streamed song of the year with 7 platinum records); the catchphrase closes the podium β€œmy love” by the very popular Annalisa (also present in the rankings at number 8 with the very summery β€œDisco Paradise” together with Fedez and Articolo 31, at 50 with β€œLonely girl” and at 63 with the current β€œEuphoria”, confirming a truly memorable year for the singer-songwriter from Savona).

From Sanremo, the winner, Marco Mengoni, is also in the top 10 (in 4th with “Two lives“, but also at 14 with “Crazy music” together with Elodie), Tananai (at 6 with β€œTango”), Mr. Rain (at 9 with β€œSuper heroes”); also in the top 20 Madame with β€œThe good in the bad”. Blanco also completes the Italian top 10 together with Mina (β€œA bit of joy” at 7) and Ernia together with Bresh and Fabri Fibra (β€œLightning rods”, at 10). The only foreign song in the top 10 positions, β€œFlowers” by Miley Cyrus (at number 5) and only two others expanding the view to the top 20, with Dua Lipa (and the soundtrack of the blockbuser β€œBarbie”, β€œDance The Night Away”) and with the revelation from Korea Peggy Gou with the dance hit β€œ(It Goes Like) Nanana”.

Among the revelations of 2023, Angelina Mango, present with two songs (“We’ll think about it tomorrow” at 13 and β€œWhat do I tell you?” at 44), Ava with ANNA and Capo Plaza (β€œBlack glasses” is already at 4 platinum records), the producer Drillionaire and the success of Alfa with β€œVery beautiful”.

Among the albums, the bestsellers are Tedua with β€œThe divine Comedy” (4 platinum discs), Geolier with β€œThe courage of children” and Marco Mengoni with β€œMatter (Earth)” (both with 5 platinum records), while Lazza with β€œSirius” has already reached 8 platinum records.

Happy 2024 and good music to everyone!
