“Sometimes, I Swear” is a new extract from Pick-Up Full of Pink Carnationsthe next album from The Vaccines. Scheduled for January 12, 2024, this is the British’s sixth studio album, in which we also find “Heartbreak Kid” and “Lunar Eclipse”. Its title comes from the text of the song “American Pie” by Don McLean, in a slightly different version. We could hear in the original title “With a pink carnation and a pickup truck”. “(This record) is about loss” says Justin Young. “And to make peace with this loss, without necessarily mourning it, but trying to understand it in another way. » This record arrives two years later Back In Love City.
