Boygenius resumed “ You’re Still the One » by Shania Twain during a recent appearance on BBC Radio 1.

Indie rock supergroup Boygenius continues its stellar year with a stripped-down version of Shania Twain’s 1997 hit, ” You’re Still The One “. The trio of Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus performed the classic single during a recent appearance on BBC Radio 1.

The year was eventful for the trio, who learned while rehearsing for their performance at Saturday Night Livethat he was nominated for six Grammy Awards.

Their first album, The Recordreceived nominations for Album of the Year, Best Alternative Music Album and Best Crafted Album (Non-Classical), while the excellent “ Not Strong Enough » could well win the award for song of the year, best rock performance and best rock song. Furthermore, ” Cool About It » was nominated in the best alternative music performance category.

Bridgers also received a seventh nomination, for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, for her appearance on ” Ghost in the Machine » by SZA. Bridgers’ career includes 12 Grammy nominations, Punisher earning him four nominations in 2021. These are the first Grammy nominations for Baker and Dacus.
