The band Dogstar, with Keanu Reeves on bass, released their latest album in October.

Dogstar was on the Tonight Show to perform his single “ Blonde hair “. The band, led by actor and bassist Keanu Reeves, offered a powerful rendition of the song, surrounded by Christmas lights.

The song is taken from the alternative rock band’s third album, Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees, released in October.

Dogstar formed in 1991 when drummer Robert Mailhouse, who had played in Days of Our Lives and in an episode of Seinfeld, met Reeves in a supermarket and they hit it off. Reeves, at that time, was already known for his roles in The River of Death, Dangerous Liaisons And Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure. Domrose joined the group in 1994. Reeves and Mailhouse appeared in Speedand Dogstar starred in the films Me and Will (1999) and Ellie Parker (2005). The band released an EP in 1996, as well as their debut album, Our Little Visionary Zoo, and another album, Happy Ending, in 2000.

Dogstar began announcing its return last summer, appearing on Instagram in July 2022 with the short message “ We’re back “. The band officially announced their reunion in May and played their first concert in more than two decades at the BottleRock Festival in Napa Valley. The band began touring in the fall with more dates planned this month.
