Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s Vultures cover accused of calling for Nazism

Ye and Ty’s new album isn’t out yet and yet Kanye is already creating a stir, controversy and outrage. The reason? The album cover.

The artwork used for the cover of Vultures, the new album by Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign, is from 1830 by landscape painter Caspar David Friedrich, known as one of Adolf Hitler’s favorite artists and whose work was used to promote Nazi ideology in the 1930s and 1940s.

Vultures’ artwork also appears to be inspired by Norwegian black metal singer Burzum, who has used similar imagery for his album covers.

It must be said that Burzum is quite controversial due to its association with Nazism, since the singer, whose real name is Varg Nikernes, is a well-known neo-Nazi and was also convicted of murder.

Kanye West knows him and used a sample of one of his songs in the 2016 track “Pussy Print” with Gucci Mane.
