The DJ begins legal proceedings for distributing nude images.

The American DJ was accused of distributing images with sexual content for revenge. In the police report prepared in Los Angeles, accusations of emotional and physical abuse, among other crimes, are established, this joins a series of lawsuits against Diplo.

Shelly Auguste declared that the musician shared his nude images through fake accounts, in revenge for a long legal process that began in 2020. The woman started a second report in which she accuses Diplo for injuries, gender violence, assault, defamation, emotional abuse and fraud. These statements follow a first report in 2021, which concluded in restraining orders and financial compensation for Diplo (due to a breach of terms).

Diplo responded with a lawsuit against Shelly Auguste for harassment, while his lawyer commented that it is a campaign against the musician. It should be noted that this is not the first lawsuit against the DJ; there have been other statements since 2019 that were not resolved.

Shelly Auguste stated that the distribution of his images continues a chain of abuse started by groomingbecause she met the DJ when she was a minor, and that she will not remain silent until the case is resolved.
